The department of Robotics and Automation Engineering was established with an undergraduate programme in "Robotics and Automation" and was formally inaugurated on Monday, 25th July 2011 by Mr. Sriny Sundararajan- Head, OEM business, Precise Automation, California, USA in the presence of Mr. C. R. Swaminathan-Chief Executive, PSG Institutions, Dr. R. Rudramoorthy-Principal,PSG Tech, Dr. P. Radhakrishnan-Director,PSG Institute of Advanced Studies and Dr. B. Vinod-HoD-In Charge of the department.
