Dr. K Arul holds an MBBS from Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) and an MD in Internal Medicine from Madras Medical College, Chennai. He has been practising Internal Medicine since 2005. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nephrology at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for five years and then for two and a half years as Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the same institution.
